Liquid Gold was created for chefs, operators, and home cooks who believe better cooking starts with better ingredients.

Owned and operated by HRR Enterprises — a family-owned beef processor with roots dating back to Chicago's historic Union Stock Yards in 1976 — Liquid Gold combines decades of beef industry expertise with a modern approach to cooking fats. HRR is one of the oldest independent renderers in the United States and operates an SQF-certified facility focused on quality, consistency, and food safety.

We created Liquid Gold to bring premium beef tallow varieties back into modern kitchens. Before industrial seed oils became the standard, chefs cooked with tallow because it delivered richer flavor, superior high-heat performance, and dependable results. We believe great cooking fats should be simple, functional, and made from healthy ingredients people recognize.
